Guest Code of Conduct

New Ryan Field and our contracted service partners are committed to providing a safe, comfortable and enjoyable experience for every guest. We ask everyone who enters New Ryan Field, including the surrounding stadium property and parking areas, to help us maintain an environment where fans, performers, players, coaches, staff and guests can enjoy their experience.

All guests are expected to:

• Be courteous and respectful to players, coaches, performers, officials, stadium staff, contracted service providers and fellow guests.
• Follow all stadium policies, posted guidelines and directions from stadium staff and law enforcement.
• Present a valid ticket or credential when requested and remain in the location designated by that ticket or credential.
• Comply with security screening procedures, including searches when required, prior to entering the stadium.
• Refrain from fighting, taunting, instigating or encouraging behavior that may harm, endanger, threaten or bring discomfort to others.
• Refrain from throwing, dropping or intentionally directing any object toward the field, stage, seating areas or other guests.
• Refrain from behavior that disrupts the event, creates an unsafe environment or interferes with another guest's ability to enjoy the experience.
• Refrain from entering the field, stage or any restricted area without appropriate credentials or authorization.
• Refrain from possessing or using illegal drugs or prohibited substances.
• Consume alcoholic beverages responsibly.
• Refrain from smoking or vaping anywhere smoking is prohibited, including the use of tobacco products, e-cigarettes and vaporizers.
• Refrain from possessing any item prohibited under the New Ryan Field Prohibited Items Policy.
• Wear appropriate clothing. Clothing or attire that is deemed offensive, obscene or inappropriate by stadium staff is not permitted.
• Respect New Ryan Field, Northwestern University and surrounding property. Damage, destruction, vandalism or theft of property will not be tolerated.
• Follow all applicable local, state and federal laws.

Our team members are trained to proactively support a safe and welcoming environment and to intervene when necessary. Guests are encouraged to report inappropriate or concerning behavior to the nearest team member or Guest Experience Team Member.

Guests who do not comply with the Guest Code of Conduct may be subject to ejection from New Ryan Field without refund, revocation of ticket or event privileges, and/or other consequences, including citation, arrest or prosecution when applicable.

Certain events may have additional policies or requirements based on the event, performer, promoter or applicable regulations. Guests are responsible for reviewing and complying with all event-specific policies.

Northwestern football guests seated in the Field Club are also subject to the Field Club Code of Conduct.
